Three steps in solving the problem

So you were caught. There is a virus, a trojan or a spyware application on your computer which spreads quickly.

This is definitely a very bad situation just as well as any disease of a human being: your condition can be bad, very bad or really lousy. So now we will play doctors — it depends on you whether your system will get off lightly.

1. To calm down. The first necessary thing you should do is to calm down. Virus
A vast and manifold part of applications. They are the most dangerous to your information and to the system operability. What can they do? They can delete files.
Trojan
They are as dangerous as viruses. They can communicate with Internet and their top priority is to steal passwords from your system. All that they can find.

And some pieces of advice for the future. If you don’t know well how to run your PC, and you have already faced problems with viruses or spyware programs, try to master Windows theory faster. For that reason we recommend the beginners to study XP Learning Suite — this package will help to get used to both Windows XP and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint).
